This librarian defines it as:

A collection of resources to help learn about a particular topic (or in this case a particular gadget).

So, to better help you learn about your new device I have put together a list of resources below focusing on the Kindle Fire.  My plan is to make this a series highlighting other gadgets in future posts.  If you have resources that you would like to add to this particular post or if you have suggestions for future gadgets to talk about leave them in the comments.

OWWL2Go Instructions:

Downloading eBooks with the OverDrive App

1. Go to the Amazon Appstore
2. Search for “OverDrive Media Console.”
3. Download free OverDrive app.
4. Enter the app.
5. Under “App Setting” authorize with Adobe ID.
6. Select “Get Books.”
7. Select “Add a Website.”
8. Type in owwl2go.owwl.org
9. Follow “eBook checkout” instructions.
10. Download MP3 and EPUB files. After checkout, titles will automatically open the OverDrive app and download.

Kindle, without OverMedia App

1. Visit owwl2go.owwl.org
2. Browse the listed collections. 
3. Select a book by pressing “Borrow.”
4. Log in with your library card number and PIN.
5. Choose “Go to Bookshelf.”
6. Under “Download” select the appropriate format.
7. Press “Confirm & Download.”
8. Press “Get Library Book” in Amazon.
9. Log in to your amazon.com account.
10. Select your Kindle.
11. Press “Continue.”
12. The next time your device connects to a WiFi service your book will download. 

Kindle – Returning Early

1. Visit amazon.com/manageyourkindle
2. Log in to your Amazon account.
3. Items you can return early will have an orange “Public Library” label.
4. On the right of the title click “Actions.”
5. Click “Return Borrowed Item”
